BOOKING CONTRACT: The Employer acknowledges that the Entertainer requires at least one-half hour lead time to set up for his/her performance after he/she has been granted access to the stage area, which shall include at least one 6 foot table and be within 3 meters of the dance floor. We request that you advise venue to not allow TV or radio to be played during our performance. ie: sporting event. The entertainers remuneration shall not be decreased, nor shall he/she be required to perform beyond the latest hour set out above, on account of any delays commencing his/her performance occasioned by the Employer, guests, staff or management of the place of employment, or any other persons over whom the Entertainer has no control or authority. The obligation of the Entertainer to perform the services provided for under this contract is subject to his/her proven detention by sickness, injury, accidents, riots, strikes, epidemics, accidents to means of transportation, gasoline rationing or other restrictions on travel by competent authorities, Acts of God or any other legitimate conditions beyond the control of the Entertainer. We reserve the right to cease performance if our safety is in anyway threatened or our equipment mishandled by guests or any other person/s. Please advise guests with children not to allow young ones near wires or lighting. The Employer agrees to obtain and pay all licenses, royalties and fees required to be obtained or to be paid to any person, association, corporation or other authority legally entitled to require licensing or payment of fees or royalties with respect to the Entertainers engagement covered by this contract.
